The Story Club

sc reading

The Story Club is an exciting and stimulating programme to assist young children in developing a love and a passion for reading. The programme currently targets primary school aged children.

•    Are you fond of children, are you fond of reading?
•    Are you someone who can breathe life into a story?
•    Would you volunteer an hour to read to young children?

Calling all members. Come join us at the Story Club. We are looking for volunteers with a projecting voice to read stories to primary school children during term. We are particularly interested in volunteers from St. George, St. James and St. Michael, but other catchment areas will also be considered.  Having your own transport is essential.

Kindly contact the BARP Office at 228-7554, and leave your contact details. A meeting will be arranged with all responders.
Come and help us spread the joys of reading.
