The draw for the competition in the Summer 2008 issue of Fifty Plus took place on 3rd October at Starcom Radio and was adjudicated by Carolyn Marshall, PA to the CEO and MD of Starcom and Sonju Patterson, Starcom's Public Relations Officer.

The winner of the $1,000 cash prize was the first person drawn out of the box who had correctly answered the questions posed in the competition. And the winner was Anthea Springer of Thornbury Hill, Christ Church.

When telephoned by Michael Goodman, Editor of Fifty Plus magazine, to tell her that she had won, Ms. Springer was delighted saying that this was the first time she had ever won anything.
